October 24, 2023 – On October 23, 2023, Constables Kenroy Chambers and Tevin Lake were found guilty for the offence of assault occasioning actual bodily harm. The verdict was handed down by Her Honour Mrs. Blake-Powell in the Kingston and St. Andrew Parish Court.

Constables Chambers and Lake will return to Court for sentencing on January 15, 2024.

Constables Chambers and Lake were charged in relation to the assault of a man in the vicinity of Regent Street, Kingston 14, on October 13, 2019. The JCF officers were placed before the Court, by summons, on February 9, 2021, following INDECOM’s investigation and a ruling by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).
