May 12, 2022 – On Tuesday, May 10, 2022, JCF officer, District Constable Kimarlo Woodstock was placed before the Westmoreland Parish Court, by way of summons, to answer to charges of Assault Occasioning Actual Bodily Harm. These charges were as a result of the investigation and recommendation by the Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM) and a ruling by the Office of the Director of Public Prosecutions (ODPP).

District Constable Woodstock was charged in relation to the off-duty assault of a woman at a house in Negril, Westmoreland in March 2020. The woman was treated at the Savanna-la-mar Hospital for injuries sustained.

District Constable Woodstock was bound over by the Court. The next court date is set for May 24, 2022.
