February 7, 2017 – The Independent Commission of Investigations (INDECOM), on warrants, arrested Detective Constable Ricardo Johnson and Constable David Williams of the Jamaica Constabulary Force (JCF) today, February 7, 2017.
Detective Constable Johnson and Constable Williams were arrested and charged for the murder of David Suckoo. They were taken before Parish Judge, Alicia McIntosh, in the St. Catherine Parish Court to answer to the charges.
Detective Constable Johnson was granted bail in the sum of $900,000 with 1-2 sureties. Constable Williams was granted bail in the sum of $600,000 with 1-2 sureties. Both Constables were ordered to surrender their travel documents.
The matter is set for mention on March 17, 2017.
The fatal shooting occurred in the community of Big Lane, Central Village in St. Catherine on February 10, 2013.
